geometric twist

geometric twist
The variation along the span of the airfoil of the angle between the chord and a fixed datum. Propeller blades are designed with a twist (i.e., a higher angle at the hub than at the tip) to equalize the lift (thrust) distribution along the blade as much as possible. See aerodynamic twist.
